dear father time,
i am writing to inform you that you may need to have mother-repairman to come have a look at your springs and gear trains and other time-measuring implements because certainly something has gone haywire and has caused you (by no fault of your own, of course) to speed up time. i know this because my little girl started pre-k today and i know, i just know, she is still a baby.
see? a baby.
not an almost-5-year-old PRE-K-er, for the love of all things good and holy.
not a little girl who wears a uniform and attends school m-f 8am-3pm.
'
i would greatly appreciate if you could get your glitches worked out and either slow down or stop time altogether because i just can not keep up. the world may spin off it's axis we're going so fast here. let's just slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-w down a minute.

thank you. i know you are busy, but i do know you will resolve this in an *ahem* timely manner.
best regards,
gina
