Road Trip Rewind Part 1 of 897

just got home yesterday from our trip up north - first to visit the ol' gang back in minne and then to hang with mama and papa on the farm. i am, of course, feeling too lazy to recap the entire shabang right now, but if you skip on over to Hank's Dream, and read "Another Crazy Pair" and "Tornado Tourney 2009", you will be all filled in on the Minneapolis portion of our adventure. besides, she used all my pictures anyway... *ahem*

more to come on the trip, but all you need to know right now is:

1.) we saw - yes SAW - a tornado touch down in the middle of our championship round of bocce - and we lived to tell about it.

2.) we also lived to continue the match and - as you can see by above pic - Tom and I were the CHAMPS! WOO HOO!

3.) we had more fun in 3 short days with our long lost pals than should be allowed, but it still went too fast.

4.) we had a blast at the farm, as usual, and time blew by there as well.

5.) did i mention i was on the winning bocce team?!
