Return of the Secret Admirer

ok, well, now i'm driven by the mystery of it all. you've got me hook, line and sinker you secret admirer you! if i guess who you are will you reveal yourself you coward? my best guess at this point is nathan. is it you? nater? come on. i know it can't be my dad because that last entry had a link to a video from your blog name and i KNOW my daddy ain't that tech savvy. i love you dad, but you know it's true. there are only a handful of people i know that are reading this blog that would know how to do that...hmmmm. uncle tom? but there's the "free to be you and me" reference to consider (that was awesome by the way)...molly? could it be you? you are wise in the ways of the html. emily sigall? i know about your "free to be" fascination...perhaps you are the one. i don't know. i do know it's driving me insane.

today is fixin' to be (I'm practicing my texas phrasing) a long day. jasper is still fairly crabby from his shots yesterday - just not quite himself - so he won't really nap and it's exhausting watching him fight it. annie is back to her climbing-the-gate hijinx - even at the higher height - so she absolutely scared the crap out of me last night when i was upstairs feeding jasper and all of the sudden i see this shadow in the hallway. thinking it was the killer, i sprang to my feet and ran out to the hallway and there was annie, standing guiltily at the railing and looking at me like "what? what's the problem?" and "ha! your plan was foiled again, silly earthling mother! i got over your barricade once again!". that's when i carried her down to her room like a sack of potatoes, put her in her bed, covered her up and then slammed her door shut to scare her. must have worked. she cried for 3 seconds and was out. again this morning she scaled the gate. ay yay yay.

ok best be going - time to feed jasper and head to the library. fun!
