tomorrow addison and i are vegas bound to have a weekend away with a few of our best friends from up north - two of which we haven't seen in 9 months or something ridiculous. 9 months! i am so excited for our little weekend away - free of any responsibility whatsoever, save getting home alive and in the black - but i will admit that i am having a little separation anxiety starting to creep in.
i'm not worried about the babies at all - are you kidding? they are spending the weekend with mama lola and papa jack and they will be living the good life of ice cream, brownies, swimming pools, dora, etc. it's just me. it's actually the first time - believe it or not - that i'll have left jasper. i have literally been with jasper every single day of his 19 months of life. every. single. day. can you believe that? that's like 550 days or something. that's a long time. anyway, i think i just might miss the little boogers.
go figure.
tonight our house will be so quiet. no annie, no jasper, no ferris (he's going to his doggie hotel)...just us.
and then bergan arrives and the party begins.
signing off for now. i have to go find the title for our house - i hear you can gamble with those! sweet!

We are so happy you're going on vacation...YA!!!! We get Annie & Jasper all to ourselves, we can't stand it!!! Papa Jack is so excited he's coming with me to get them, in like 2 hours. But seriously, mommy & daddy have fun, relax, do as you want cuz the kiddos are loved, safe and well cared for. xoxo mama lola

I understand what you're saying. Grame is coming to get me in a couple weeks and mom says her tummy already hurts....but I know grampe has already got stash of chocolate for me! Just like Gpa Jack and Gammy have for my cousins. They'll be great and you just HAVE FUN!!
