it was either going to go one of two ways: one, she is terrified, chokes on water and never wants to look at the slide again or two, she feels the rush, she laughs, chokes on a little water and says "try again?!" you decide.
while we continue to have fun and spend most of our days at the swimming pool, this blog sits here unattended. for those of you who count on it and/or care, i apologize...but quite honestly, i would rather be swimming right now.
oh, speaking of swimming, here's something entertaining for you all to visualize. so yesterday addison and i take the kids to the pool. the advantage of having both of us there is that while one of us minds the children, the other of us can swim a lap. we're thinking we're so brilliant - we're going to get some exercise! so i set up to do a lap and i get one length of the pool and stop at the wall and i'm panting, struggling to catch my breath. then i take off to shoot back the other direction and i get about half way and when i go to take my breath, my hair all covers my face and mouth and i get a mouth full of water. i start choking and stop and then i'm laughing at what a mess i am. girl can't even swim a full lap without dying. but then addison takes off for his lap and when he turns at the wall and begins to head back, you can see that he is fatiguing, because instead of the smooth crawl he started off doing, it turns into this arms and legs just flailing thing and it is hysterical. HYSTERICAL, i tell you! then he stops, stands and starts laughing at what a mess he is. honestly. it's a good thing we aren't a.) trying to survive in the ocean, b.) trying to win a challenge on Survivor or c.) trying to save someone's life.
